In 2006 I got friends who visited to sit with me at a keyboard. We chose one of the 127 default midi settings and improvised for five to ten minutes. None of us were well trained or accomplished musicians by any means. I would then take the resulting midi, spend five to ten minutes cleaning it up, quantizing rogue rhythms, tuning rogue pitches. Then we would give it a name. It was stupid and fun and looking back on it now I can listen to them with a deep sentimentality.
